This website is basically a place for my thoughts, my ideas, my projects, and whatever else happens to be on my mind.

I’m a programmer and I’ve always had a love for simulation games. Not really games like SimCity or The Sims. Don’t get me wrong, those games can be fun, but I’ve always been more interested in the actual simulation side of things. Programs where you can create a world, let it run, and see what happens.

I’ve worked on different programs on and off for years, and for some reason I always come back to the idea of trying to simulate an entire universe.

I love the idea of having all these different systems working together in the background. Statistics changing, records being broken, people or teams developing histories, random events happening, and the computer creating things that even I didn’t necessarily expect when I wrote the program.

That’s probably why one of the projects I’m working on is called October Baseball.

October Baseball is my attempt at making what I would consider the perfect baseball simulator. I want it to be detailed without being a mess. Something with deep statistics, history, records, seasons, players, teams, and all the little things that make baseball interesting.

I’m also interested in a lot of things outside of programming.

I’ve always believed there is more going on in this world than we understand.

The paranormal has always fascinated me, along with probably one of the biggest questions anybody can ask:

Are we alone in the universe?

Personally, I don’t think we are.

I like thinking about things like other dimensions, strange weather, unexplained events, UFOs, places where reality doesn’t seem quite right, and the possibility that there are things around us that we simply aren’t capable of seeing or understanding yet.

Sometimes I wonder if there could even be some kind of doorway between dimensions that normally remains invisible to us, but under certain conditions something changes and that doorway opens.

Maybe that’s crazy.

Maybe it isn’t.

That’s the fun of thinking about it.

I also don’t have a lot of trust in governments, giant corporations, the media, or people who manage to collect enormous amounts of power. I think people should question things instead of automatically believing whatever they’re told.

There are plenty of things happening in the world that make me suspicious of the motives of the people running it.

Declining birth rates, wars, propaganda, censorship, corporations controlling more and more of everyday life, governments becoming increasingly invasive — all of it interests me, and I’m probably going to write about some of it here.

That doesn’t mean I’m claiming to have all the answers.

Far from it.

Sometimes I’m just thinking out loud.

That’s really what this website is.

I’ve wanted my own personal website for a long time. Not just somewhere to show off the programs I’m working on, but somewhere I can actually leave a little bit of myself behind.

My projects.

My opinions.

My strange ideas.

Things I find interesting.

Things that piss me off.

Things that make me laugh.

And probably some completely pointless stuff that I felt like writing about at two in the morning.

I miss the old idea of the internet where people had their own little websites instead of everything being filtered through the same handful of social media companies.

So this is my little corner of it.
